The Start Of The Season

Well I’ve been in the USA for just over 6 weeks now and boy how time has flown. The squad has been together for just over 5 weeks and team morale has been awesome. For some of the guys its their first time playing either rugby or rugby league, although many have played american football.

What has impressed me the most in the last few weeks is their attitude to learn and listen to the information that is being passed on by myself or captain Siose Muliumu. Their willingness to ask and attend extras trainings, wether its for kicking, catching, or passing. They are dead KEEN.

This week we travel down to Washington D.C to take on the Slayers. The boys including myself are all itching to play after last weekends forfiet, many of us have not played a game of league since august last year.
