The New Haven Warriors Rugby League Football Club launched the first New Haven County Youth Rugby program in January 2009. The aim is to develop and produce skillful rugby players at the high school age group so they possess basic skills before participating in college and men's age group rugby.
These players who have developed and possess a wide range of skills will become more confident to play at a higher level. The overall goal of the New Haven Warriors Youth Program is to produce individuals who are able to play an attractive style of rugby, become a positive team member, be a role model to other students, achieve personal satisfaction and a sense of self accomplishment.
