For the 3rd consecutive season, the New Haven Warriors have made the top six out of ten clubs in the AMNRL competition. In only their 3rd season in the competition, the Warriors have managed to finish the regular season undefeated placing them alongside the Aston Bulls in the top two playoff seeds, earning a bye in the quarterfinal round. The semifinal kicks off August 16th against either the Jacksonville Axemen, who are favored in their quarterfinal matchup against the Washington DC Slayers, or the winner of the other quarterfinal game pitting the New York Knights against last season’s grand final winners, the Connecticut Wildcats.
Common predictions have the Warriors clashing with the Bulls for the grand final on August 23rd at Fort Dix Army base, New Jersey, but the Wildcats’ fan base is predicting otherwise. Will the grand final be down to the two Connecticut based Clubs, or will the Bulls pull off a triumphant defeat against their former grand final opposition the Wildcats?
