The New Haven Warriors are proud to be hosting an exciting production team from TOA TV New Zealand. Te Kauhoe Wano (producer) and his staff include New Zealand Rugby league legend Tawera Nikau, former New Zealand Rugby sevens Captain and New Zealand Maori player Matua Parkinson, and Richard Curtis their cameraman.
TOA TV paid a visit to the Warriors training last night and plan to shoot some footage tonight when the Auckland Police led by former NZ Warriors Tony Tatupu, take on the New Haven Warriors in an unopposed match refereed by Wayne Urqhart. The Warriors lineup for the grand final this Saturday includes 8 first season players, whom are all eager to meet TOA TV and to be recipient to some top tips from Tawera Nikau and Matua Parkinson. TOA TV will accompany the Fencibles and the Warriors at the Black Bear Saloon, downtown New Haven Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8 PM.
