Coach Roy Leoni has been happy with the way the side has trained over the week, although the heavy rain forced them to have an alternate training venue on Thursday night.
“The week has been a little disruptive; the weather hasn’t been the best here in New Haven. But I’ve been happy with the way the boys have trained. We needed to work on certain areas of our game that we were unhappy with following the victory over the Slayers but in saying that it’s nothing major and I’m confident if we stick to what we have been doing then we will get away with a win. They have a couple of Australian boys in their side who will no doubt lead their side around.”
The game will kick off at 1.30pm at the Boulevard rugby fields in New Haven. A youth curtain raiser will start at 12.30pm
